First and last day of sun

Tired.com

We weren't joking when we said everyone was shattered! Spot whose sleeping!
Hey Guys,

The competition is finally over. After three of the most intense days of our lives we are pleased to say that Rescue A finished with a fantastic score of 1200- the highest English scoring team in rescue A. Rescue B came 16th - also the highest scoring English team in rescue B.

We are now exhausted and looking forward to coming home to see everyone. We haven't got much planned for the next two days just a trip 42 floors up the World Trade Centre to see some panoramic views of the City then hopefully some well deserved rest. We are disappointed with the weather as today has been the only sunny day and we are upset that there are hardly any shops for such a big city. But on the whole this has been an amazing trip and we have experienced plenty of culture.

Anyway, we are trying to upload some pictures for you all to see...

This will probably be our last blog now until we are back at school so see you all soon!

Hi Guys

We have all just finished our first day of the competition. Yestersay was the day we where able to practice on the courses and become comfortable in our surroundings. While waiting to be seated several group of boys from various different countries asked for our picture!

This morning we left the hotel at about 9:30 so we where well prepared for the day. Both teams had their first three runs today, each run improving massivly. We have all seen some truly amazing robots and some tough competition. It has been a long day full of ups and downs, however everyone is still looking forward to tommorow when the comptition begins to heat up.

We have arrived!

Hey Guys,

Well, we arrived at long last! We very nearly didn't make it to Mexico... lets just say Mr O'Neill may have got himself a starring role in Nothing to Declare. Having been whisked away from the group for an hour for a search we only just made our transfer at Washington.

Very jet lagged today but looking forward to getting up fresh and ready to take on whatever Robocup brings to us this week.
